Here is my design for a 270 sq ft apartment room set relevant to the small space living urban market in NYC. It is a multifunctional space that can be transformed from day to night to accommodate the needs of its hypothetical inhabitant, a female entrepreneur/chef who runs a catering business out of her newly-owned apartment. I utilized vertical space for storage needs and created versatile activity zones for prepping, cooking, dining, working, relaxing, entertaining, and sleeping, with a pullout daybed, privacy panel divider, and moveable furniture for ease of transformation.
